官宣履新｜Jane White女士即将加入NACIS担任全校学术总监 Ms. Jane White will Join NACIS in August 2026 as Director of Studies

在新学期启幕之际，NACIS荣幸地宣布，Jane White女士将于2026年8月正式加入我校，担任全校学术总监(Director of Studies)一职。她将以其深厚的学术背景与丰富的国际教育领导经验，为学校的学术发展注入新的视野与活力。

As the semester draws to a close, I am delighted to announce that Ms. Jane White will Join NACIS in August 2026 as Director of Studies. Jane White joins us from College Alpin Beau Soleil in Switzerland, where she is currently Vice Principal. She was born in London and completed her education in the UK. Having graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University with an MA (Hons) in Classics, over 10 years ago, at BISS Puxi she was Head of Humanities, then Head of Middle School and finally Head of the IB Academy, responsible for years 12 and 13, before returning to Europe and taking on her current role at Beau Soleil. She is very much looking forward to returning to China and getting to know NACIS and its community of staff, students and parents. Let’s extend our warmest welcome to Jane!

Jane White女士目前在瑞士博索雷学校担任副校长。她出生于伦敦，在英国完成了教育。她毕业于剑桥大学冈维尔与凯斯学院，荣获古典学荣誉硕士学位，并接受了特许会计师培训。这段经历为她的教育生涯开启了大门。从业之初，她专攻商科和经济学的教学。之后，她在英国和瑞士的多所学校担任学科负责人和寄宿部舍监等领导岗位。后与家人一起迁居上海，自此长期投身国际教育领域。

Jane White joins us from College Alpin Beau Soleil in Switzerland, where she is currently Vice Principal. She was born in London and completed her education in the UK. Having graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University with an MA (Hons) in Classics, she trained as a Chartered Accountant. This opened the door to a career in education, specialising in Business and Economics teaching before taking on leadership roles in a series of UK and Swiss schools, including Head of Department and Boarding Housemistress. She then relocated with her family to Shanghai and has worked in international education ever since.

在英国外籍人员子女学校浦西校区，她先后担任人文学科负责人、中学部校长和IB学院负责人，统领十一至十二年级的教学。之后，她返回欧洲，并开启了在博索雷学校的职业旅程。她连续为三位校长提供支持，负责督导校园生活的方方面面，致力于为学生提供机会，在学业成绩和个人发展方面取得最大程度的成功。她积极投身学校的学术体系建设，引领大学升学项目，对于高年级的学术管理经验颇丰。

At BISS Puxi she was Head of Humanities, then Head of Middle School and finally Head of the IB Academy, responsible for years 12 and 13, before returning to Europe and taking on her current role at Beau Soleil. Working to support three consecutive Principals, this role has involved oversight of all areas of school life, focusing on ensuring that students are given every opportunity to succeed at the highest possible level, academically and personally. This includes close involvement in the school’s academic programmes, specifically those relating to senior students, and leadership of the University Counselling programme.

Jane also very much enjoys joining in with wider school life and education as broadly as possible. In school, she particularly enjoys helping with drama and musical theatre, and, across the wider group, she has been involved in supporting the development of effective boarding practice in other schools.
