第五届职业日圆满收官 Successful Conclusion of the 5th NACIS Career Day

“问道云端，脚下生根”，以AI带来产业变革为主题的第五届职业日活动本周四举行，中学部八年级以上参与了职业日活动。本场活动的开幕式上，中学部David校长发布了九年级AFI项目，此项目将聚焦九年级语文、数学、英语、物理、化学及生物六大学科，遴选25名左右学生参与试点（学生报名已完成）；全校学生活动总监Stephanie老师发布了“校园智能微电网项目”，该项目将学校Eco School项目与AI技术相融合，将延展光伏工程、金融分析、物联平台、数据分析等多个项目研究，为高中以上学生提供校内一站式的科研课题及社区活动，助力顶级大学的申请。为推动AI与教育的融合研究，职业日活动中聘请连续五年担任家长职业导师的杨华女士为校科技副校长，进一步探索家校共育的新机制。

The fifth NACI Career Day event focusing on the industrial revolution brought by AI themed “Seek Answers in the Cloud, Stay Rooted on the Ground” took place last Thursday. Participants included secondary students from Grade 8 and above. At the opening ceremony, David, International Head of Secondary announced the launch of Grade 9 AFI Project, which will be introduced in Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology teaching. 25 students will be selected for pilot and the registration has concluded. Also, Ms. Stephanie, the Whole-school Director of Student Activities unveiled the “Campus Smart Microgrid Project, which integrates our Eco School Project with AI technology. This project will extend the research into photovoltaic engineering, financial analysis, IoT platforms and data analysis, providing high school students with a one-stop on-campus research and community service platform to support their university applications. To further facilitate the integration of AI and education, we appointed Ms. Yang Hua, who has served as our Parent Mentor for five consecutive years as the Technology Vice Principal. We look forward to new forms of home-school collaboration.
