Initiated by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2003, iGEM is one of the most influential international competitions in the field of synthetic biology. This year’s event attracted around 5,000 participants, including a record-breaking 145 high school teams. The competition posed comprehensive challenges that demanded excellence across research design, technical execution, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
依托NACIS优质的跨学科教育生态与创新培养模式,学生们锤炼出扎实的科研素养、协作能力与国际视野,面对全球顶尖评审从容应答,最终斩获殊荣。这份国际级荣誉,既印证了NACIS学子的卓越实力,更彰显了学校在学术育人、创新实践领域的顶尖水准。本赛季14名NACIS iGEM队员中,十年级3人、十一年级7人、十二年级4人,不同学段学子携手协作,用拼搏为荣誉注入青春力量。
Drawing on our robust interdisciplinary education ecosystem and innovative talent development model, our students demonstrated strong scientific literacy, teamwork, and global perspective. They responded with confidence to rigorous evaluations by leading international judges and achieved outstanding recognition. The international honor not only affirms the exceptional capabilities of our students but also highlights the excellence in our academic cultivation and innovation-driven education. Among the 14 members of the NACIS iGEM team were 3 students from Grade 10, 7 from Grade 11, and 4 from Grade 12 - students from different grades working together and infusing youthful passion into their pursuit of excellence.
